2005 Chateau de Beaucastel Coudoulet Cotes du Rhone presale offering

We are pleased to announce another pre-sale deal on a wine from a fabulous Rhone valley chateau. With the recent string of great vintages in the Rhone Valley, many of the premier regions are becoming more and more expensive (i.e. Chateauneuf du Pape, Cote Rotie, etc. Due to these rising prices, it’s becoming more difficult to find good Rhone values out there. Chateau de Beaucastel’s Coudoulet de Beaucastel Cotes du Rhone just received 91 points from Robert Parker and looks to be a great steal. Here’s his review:

Robert Parker 91 Points

The 2005 Beaucastel Coudoulet Cotes du Rhone is another outstanding example of this Cotes du Rhone made essentially across the border from Chateauneuf du Pape. Notes of tapenade, licorice, smoked herbs, and meat juices interwoven with black cherry and darker fruits are followed by an expansive, broadly flavored, full-bodied wine with no hard edges, gorgeous fruit purity, and a long, spicy, heady finish. This is almost the bottled essence of Provence. Drink it over the next decade or more.

Regular retail by the bottle: $24.95
Pre-sale by the bottle: $23.95
Pre-sale by the ½ case: $22.95
Pre-sale by the full case: $21.95

All orders must be pre-paid for by April 24th. Please call us at the shop to place your order. Anticipated delivery of wines is May 2008. We will keep you posted as the supplier keeps us posted on arrivals.

Thank you and aloha.
